Every youth is welcomed and respected for their individuality at the Boys and Girls Club of Botwood. Taking individuality and interests into consideration, club staff are dedicated to engaging youth in activities that will make a positive contribution to the community. Youth programs vary from leadership building, civic engagement, sports and much more!
The Boys and Girls Club of Botwood offer rewarding youth employment opportunities. Through various partnerships, the Boys and Girls Club of Botwood employ youth to assist with program implementation and special events during out-of-school hours. Youth interested in making a positive difference in the lives of children and their community are encouraged to apply for contractual employment.
The success of the Boys and Girls Club of Botwood requires the support of volunteers to make positive changes in the lives of children and youth. Dedicated volunteers help enable children and youth to play, learn and develop valuable skills for life. There are many ways volunteers share their valued ‘Gift of Time’, while making a positive contribution to the Boys and Girls Club of Botwood.
Some volunteers contribute time to mentor children and youth, some share their expertise at the board table, while others chose to give their time at fundraising endeavours. Regardless of the volunteer placement, all volunteers bring skills that enrich the lives of the community’s children and youth. To learn more about volunteering opportunities contact the Boys and Girls Club of Botwood.
